Teaching
From the first call I had with Jo, I felt supported. I was talking to someone who could make sense of our struggles as parents and understood my son's needs instantly.
He had his first session with Jo in September, and we noticed a difference straight away. She has an ability to understand the individual's needs and she put a 7 year old boy at ease instantly. He trusts her completely and thrives in their sessions.
Not only is Jo working her magic with my son but also with us as his parents. Teaching us different techniques, educating us about dyslexia, showing us altered teaching styles, or just being an ear to listen when I am tearing my hair out.
The children who have worked with Jo in small groups have become more confident when in the classroom environment and their self esteem has improved in a short time. Parents have reported to us the positive impact Jo has had on their child’s confidence and ability.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the work you have done with my son over the last few months. In the short space of time his confidence has grown and he is enjoying reading and writing a lot more.
